This year, I have the honor of working with Director of Constituent Outreach Mrs. Dody Brigadier of the Office of H.D. 106 State Representative Pat Fallon. Mrs. Brigadier obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a Minor in Marketing at Florida State University, where she began to pursue her passion for interpersonal and public relations. Soon after moving to the North Texas area, Mrs. Brigadier began to pursue growth in family property management with Brigadier LLC, soon expanding the business sevenfold. She soon integrated herself heavily into the surrounding public education, becoming a key figure for local elementary, middle, and high schools.

A part of the local community and her own family, Mrs. Brigadier understood the sacrifices the common citizen takes for their country, being both proud and thankful for her husband and son, both of whom served for the United States Armed Forces. She now helps to serve the American government as well with Texas Representative Pat Fallon, working in the legislative domain to interact directly with his constituents; learn more here.
In working with Mrs. Brigadier, I have been exposed to a legislative climate that stresses the importance of civic duty; learning the processes that define public interaction with the government was not only an experience of education, but of empowerment as well. I looked to incorporate the lessons learnt in Mrs. Brigadier's workspace in my personal projects, aiming to display the importance of becoming an educated citizen and active participant in the shaping of our government's policies and bodies.
