Equipping students with knowledge essential to their respective fields, Research Assessments aid ISM participants in understanding various concepts and foster greater passion for their topic.
Below are multiple Research Assessments provided to arm the common citizen with the knowledge and encouragement to participate in all levels of public policy. Subject topics begin at the discussion of modern issues such as partisan-influenced redistricting policies (emphasized by the 2017 Supreme Court case Gill v. Whitford) or the reformation of evacuation policies for specials needs patients in the case of a natural disaster. However, approaching RA 4, my focus shifts to discuss the greater implications of the relationships between representatives and private organizations such as lobbyists, nonprofits, and businesses.
Take a look! Each Research Assessment is geared to develop the reader's understanding of public policy, and empower them to want to learn more.
